The Maple City Motion gymnastic club held its annual showcase on Saturday, as members of the competitive, developmental and future programs performed their routines in front of more than 100 spectators. The event provides a competitive atmosphere for the young gymnasts, who have never been to a meet, and an opportunity to showcase the skills they've learned over the fall and winter training sessions. For competitive club members, it gives them the chance to prepare for upcoming meets in Burlington, in May and Toronto, in June.
