With Bank Beds: The 2011 Birmingham Bank Bed Challenge raised $155,000- a total that will be matched, dollar for dollar, by the Birmingham Match through the Birmingham Family Foundation. The annual fundraiser is hosted by the Oakville hospital foundation to purchase hospital beds for Oakville-Trafalgar Memorial Hospital and the new Oakvillle hospital. It sees local banks campaign for a month to raise funds and then race hospital beds in downtown Oakville to compete for various titles from fastest to best spirit on race day.

While covering Walk with Jesus, where around 1,200 students along with teachers, staff and parents got together for an outdoor Mass at Corpus Christi Catholic Secondary School parking lot, a small plane flew over and made an emergency landing in an open field behind the school. At first I did not realize that the plane was making an emergency landing, I thought that there is grass airstrip just behind school, but then I saw people running into the field and screaming to call 911, that is when I realize that plane made an emergency landing. I walked to the field and took pictures. No one was injured during landing.
Four escape emergency...
