MITCHELL'S BAY - This summer resort community in north-west Chatham-Kent has become home to a new sport to the area involving kite sailing. As many as a dozen enthusiasts can often be seen at one time kiting across the flat waters of Mitchell's Bay propelled by wind. The kiters are attached to the kites by a long rope and use a flat board to ride the water. Mark Johnston launches his kite near the shoreline. (© 2007 Michael Ivanin/Chatham Daily News)
