 The 1188 Lome Scots Oakville Royal Canadian Army Cadet Corps held its 90th annual Ceremonial Review at Queen Elizabeth Park  Community and Cultural Centre (QEPCCC). Clockwise, from top left, Cadet Warrant Officer Braden MacGregor reports to Pilot Officer Malcolm Andrade, a Second World War Spitfire pilot, who is special guest Reviewing Officer, accompanied by Cadet Chief Warrant Officer Nandini Gupta and Commanding Officer Captain Mark B. Burlington firefighters battle a fire on Lakeshore road just west of Poplar Drive. It took about two hours and close to 50 firefighters to get the fire under control. The damage estimate to the two-storey, stonework residence is $3.5 million based on the home's reported listing price. There were no injuries.(© 2013 Michael Ivanin)
