EACHING OUT IN REMEMBRANCE: Fred Norman, chair of the Burl Oak Naval Veterans, and grandson Riley touch the name of the HMCS Grou on the Naval Ships’ Memorial Monument in Spencer Smith Park during a recent ceremony to commemorate the August anniversaries of the raid on Dieppe and victory over Japan during the Second World War.
