I was one of Gianfranco's Art students in the early nineties. He disappeared from Vancouver only a couple of years after I met him.
He's a phenomenal artist. Nowadays with the proliferation of CG, you just don't find the kind of skill and passion for art that he possesses.
It's unfortunate that I couldn't continue lessons with him.
He's hard to track down; years ago I tried to regain contact with him thorugh various friends of his, but no one knew where he was.
It's great to have actually found this on the net...
It would be awesome to see some pics of his recent paintings,...
I wonder if his paintings are worth anything. I ha e a huge painting made by him for over 20 years now.
